San Angelo ISD is Hosting a Summer Book Patrol Pop-Up Event This Friday, July 16th

Join us this Friday, July 16th at McGill Elementary at 201 Millspaugh St, San Angelo, TX 76901 (across from the Original Henry’s Restaurant on Sherwood Way) from 9:00 am to 11:00 am for a free, family-friendly San Angelo READS! Summer Book Patrol Pop-Up Event filled with summer fun including book giveaways, shaved ice snow cones from Bahama Bucks, STEM activities, special guests like H-E-Buddy, Layla the Unicorn and high school cheerleaders, 94.7 KIXY-FM live on-site, and more! 

Additionally, San Angelo ISD representatives will be available on-site to answer any questions and assist families with the registration progress for the upcoming school year for new and returning students, including our Pre-K and Bilingual Programs. If you plan to register your student on-site, please bring the necessary required documentation including: 

  • Students who are new to the district, Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten will need the following documents:
    • Proof of residence (utility bill or lease agreement)
    • Social Security Card
    • Birth Certificate
    • Immunization record
    • Withdrawal paperwork from previous school
  • Students who are returning from the previous school year will need the following documents:
    • Proof of residence (utility bill or lease agreement)
    • Immunization record
